London .. roaming around

Waterloo Station

S. had his own plans for today,
so I took the opportunity
to do what I wanted.

My first stop was Waterloo Station,
as I was asked for some photos
of the Windrush Monument.

Battersea Power Station

The Power Station was on my list,
as was the Angel of London.

I would have loved to see the apartments
from the inside.

Angel of London

.
It's not the place I would have chosen,
as a lot of the monument disappears
against the background.

If it had been possible,
I'd have hung red or deepgreen fabric
behind it.

My camera crashed.

As the weather was extremely hot,
I decided to go to
London Bridge Station
Tanner Street Park
and
Potters Fields Park.
Had a lovely time there
sitting on a bench and watching
some children play.
I had an open view on London Bridge.

No better and more relaxing way
to spend a tropical afternoon in London.

Finally I walked a tunnel under the bridge,
and had a nice walk though the area,
saw a lovely fountain,
a street full of pots with plants,
and went back to the station.

S wanted to meet in Clapham Junction,
but I decided to meet in Camden Park.
I sat at the monument,
enjoyed the weather and people,
and was easy to be found.

.
Then we went to yet another Wetherspoon.
Where we saw an accident happen.

The guy left,
leaving the girl in utter amazement.
