The Alexandra, London

The Alexandra Hotel is near
Paddington Station.

The receptionist asked
if we were able to walk stairs.
S should have said:"No".
He said "yes",
maybe forgetting
the plates and screws in his leg

and my dodgy knees.

We got a room at the top floor.
And the lift was broken.

were at the right places.

So The Alexandra is a mix of good
and not so good.

I liked the special place
above the door and the TV.
Perfect for the suitcases when one stays longer.

Be aware of the changes in rates.
And the railing of the top stairs was loose.
So that didn't feel safe.
